Motorcyclist pops a wheelie at 70 mph on Crown Valley Speedway
4 p.m. A motorcyclist northbound on Crown Valley Speedway at Clubhouse Drive is weaving between cars, and as he approaches the intersection he cuts between the lanes of cars, excessively speeding, and pops a wheelie and tears off on one wheel while driving on the dotted line with cars on each side of him, and drives for at least 300 yards at more than 70 mph --- on one wheel! This behavior is exceedingly dangerous. Better enforcement is needed. This kind of extreme driving behavior is not uncommon here (just read the other postings and listen to the racing noise violations!).
White Tacoma truck cuts off a bicyclist
9:05 a.m. A man in a white Ford Tacoma truck (with a Fox mountain bike sticker in the rear window) is speeding and lane changing (without signals) northbound on Alicia Speedway, just north of Pacific Island Drive. A road bicyclist is moving to the left turn lane at Niguel Road and the driver in the truck cuts off the cyclist. The cyclist maneuvers to avoid a collision. The truck driver speeds away at over 60 mph on Alicia.
Right turn at City Hall, and hit the curb
9 a.m. A woman turning right from Alicia Speedway to Crown Valley Speedway in a burgundy Ford SUV has her phone to her head so, of course, she's unable to accurately make a right turn with one hand, and she bumps into the curb at the center divider and continues southbound on Crown Valley.

White Honda Rav 4: inoperable turn signal?
11:10 a.m. Southbound on Crown Valley Speedway, south of La Paz to Del Avion, a women in a white Honda Rav4, doing +60 mph, is lane drifting, never using her turn signal, to get around any car, cutting people, off, and ends up at the same stoplight (at every intersection) as all the rest of us who are safe, speed-abiding drivers. She changes lanes more than 20 times in two miles.

Friday evening kick-offs a weekend of screaming tailpipes
6 p.m. Once again, a Friday evening kick-off of the screaming tailpipe parade through Laguna Niguel: Crown Valley Speedway: cars race northbound from Hillhurst past Alicia toward Niguel Road (perhaps somebody sitting in their city hall offices should open their windows to hear what goes on in this city); another report from Golden Lantern Speedway, southbound at Marina Hills of noise and speed violations; and a third report from Moulton Speedway at Rancho Niguel. Laguna Niguel is one web of speedways for all the surrounding cities, compliments of funds received from the county transportation authority which makes our roads wider and faster for the neighboring cities, but noisier and less safe for the residents in Laguna Niguel. It's a really pathetic and self-serving system of gaining monies in the city coffers to the detriment of city residents.
Run a red at Highland
9 a.m. A red Honda speeding down the hill, eastbound on Highland at Alicia, runs a red light to make a left turn, northbound on Alicia Speedway.
